First meet! Staying in the lines with the lions!!!!!!!!!
TODAY I was privelege to be a part of the middler schoolers first invitational meet of the season. They did so awesome. Medals were won and lots of ribbons were earned. But more than medals and ribbons were gained from this day for these kids....I saw confidence being formed in their hearts, and fight, and the desire to do better. Kids supported kids in races and a TRUE team was formed. I saw kids pushing beyond their limits and I saw kids digging deep within themselves to keep going even if it didnt mean that they won the race.....the finish strong and honestly everyone excelled above their goals.
I love coaching and being a part of these kids lives. They are all great kids and I love to see them learn and develop a new love for something.
One boy was really nervous and the rest of the boys were for the 4x100 relay because they knew they wouldnt do super great against their competition.....but they said lets pray....and they did...giving the race to GOD and thanking him for the opportunity to RUN!!!!!!!!!praise GOD!
I love this team and they are teaching me alot about life, faith and RUNNING the race !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
